Tattoo Appointment Policy

Thank you for choosing us for your tattoo! Please carefully read our policy to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

  1. Appointment Requests:
    All tattoo appointments are by application only. We carefully review each application to match the artist’s availability and style preferences.

  2. Non-Refundable Deposit:
    A 20% non-refundable deposit of the total tattoo quote is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your tattoo.

  3. Design Fees:
    Design fees are separate from the quoted tattoo session price and will be added on top of the final cost. These fees are determined by the complexity of the design and time required to create it.

  4. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
    If you need to cancel your appointment, no refund will be issued for the deposit. However, you may reschedule your appointment if space is available with your artist. Due to high demand and scheduling, rescheduling can only occur based on the artist’s availability. Please note that we book appointments well in advance, so flexibility is appreciated.

  5. No-Show or Late Arrival:
    No shows or arrivals late by 30 minutes or more without prior communication will result in the immediate cancellation of your appointment. In such cases, the deposit will be forfeited, and no service will commence.

We strive to offer exceptional service and respect both your time and the artist's time. Please ensure that you communicate any changes in your schedule as soon as possible.

Course Training Policy

Thank you for choosing to enroll in our courses! Please read through our policy carefully to ensure you have all the information you need.

  1. Full Payment Required:
    All courses must be paid in full at the time of enrollment to confirm your spot.

  2. Course Kits:

    • Online Courses: Course kits will be shipped nationwide within 4-6 weeks of purchase, free of charge.

    • In-Studio Courses: If you are attending an in-studio course, your kit will be available for pickup in the studio on the day of your course.

  3. In-Studio Course Scheduling:
    For in-studio courses, you must wait for your kit to arrive before we can schedule an appropriate time and date for your course intake. Please ensure you have received your kit before contacting us to book.

  4. Non-Refundable Courses:
    All courses are non-refundable, so please choose your course carefully before booking. We encourage you to review all course details and ensure it aligns with your goals.

Health and Safety Policy

  2. Health Screening:
    If you are feeling unwell, have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for contagious illnesses, or have any health concerns, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. We prioritize the health and safety of everyone in the studio.

  3. Children in the Studio:
    For safety reasons, no children are allowed in the studio. We recommend arranging childcare for your appointment, as the studio environment may not be suitable or safe for young children.

  4. Support Person Policy:
    Only one support person is allowed to accompany clients into the studio. This person must remain seated in the designated area and follow all studio guidelines. We appreciate your understanding in keeping the studio environment calm and comfortable for all clients.

  5. Tattoo Aftercare and Follow-Up:
    We will provide you with comprehensive aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing. Should you have any questions or concerns after your session, don’t hesitate to contact us for support. Your well-being is our priority.

Age Policy

At Brother Tip Tattoo & Art , we prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients and students. Please review our age policy below:

  1. Studio Age Requirement:
    Our studio is R18, meaning no children are allowed in the studio. We ask that you make arrangements for childcare before visiting.

  2. Ear and Nose Piercings:
    We offer ear and nose piercings to individuals aged 14 and above, with parental consent required for clients under 18.

  3. Tattoos:
    Tattoos are available to individuals aged 16 and above, with parental consent required for clients under 18. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accompany you to sign consent forms.

  4. Courses:
    Our courses are available to individuals aged 16 and above. For clients under 18, parental consent is required to enroll in any of our training programs.

We appreciate your understanding and adherence to our age policy to ensure a safe and professional environment for all our clients and students.

Refund Policy

Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Brother Tip Tattoo & Art. Please review our refund policy carefully:

  1. Deposits:
    All deposits are non-refundable. However, deposits are transferable to a new appointment date, only if the artist is available. Please make sure to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible to secure your new date.

  2. No-Show or Late Arrivals:
    If you fail to show up for your appointment or arrive more than 30 minutes late without prior communication, your deposit will be forfeited, and your appointment will be canceled. In such cases, the deposit will not be refunded or transferable.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these terms, as they help us maintain a smooth and efficient scheduling process. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Terms and Conditions for Course Enrolment

By enrolling in any course offered through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Payments

  • All courses must be paid in full or through an approved time payment plan prior to the course start date.

  • Deposits and time payments are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • This policy is in place due to the administrative workload involved in preparing course materials, the ordering and shipping of kits, and the applicable taxes and customs duties.

2. Refund Policy

  • All courses are strictly non-refundable.

  • We encourage all students to carefully consider their availability, interest, and commitment before enrolling.

3. Course Transfers

  • If you are unable to attend your original course date, you may request to:

    • Transfer to a later start date, or

    • Transfer your enrolment to a different course of equal value (subject to availability and approval).

  • All transfer requests must be made in writing at least 5 working days before the course start date.

  • Transfers are allowed once only per enrolment.

4. Materials and Kits

  • Course kits are ordered and prepared specifically for each student. This includes the sourcing, shipping, and payment of relevant taxes and customs duties.

  • Due to this, we cannot offer refunds on any materials or kits that have been ordered on your behalf.

5. Responsibility

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to attend the course dates and that you understand the requirements before making payment.

  • By enrolling, you acknowledge and accept all terms stated above.

6. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late by more than 15 minutes may result in a reduced session time or cancellation of your appointment. If you know you’ll be late, please contact us as soon as possible.

3. Alcohol and Drugs:
For the safety of both you and our team, no alcohol or drugs are allowed in the studio before or during your tattoo or piercing appointment. If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, your appointment will be canceled, and your deposit will be forfeited.

4. Health and Medical Considerations:
If you have any medical conditions, allergies, or health concerns that may affect your tattoo or piercing, please inform your artist before your appointment. This ensures that we can provide the best possible care and avoid any risks.

5. Children and Unaccompanied Minors:
For safety reasons, no children are allowed in the studio. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accompany you to your tattoo or piercing appointment to sign consent forms.

6. Personal Hygiene:
Please ensure you have practiced good personal hygiene before your appointment. We want everyone to feel comfortable in the studio, and maintaining a clean and pleasant environment is important for the overall experience.

7. Mobile Phones and Photography:
We ask that you keep your mobile phone on silent during your appointment. Photography and video recording are not allowed unless prior permission is granted. We do encourage you to share your new tattoo or piercing on social media, but please respect the artist's work and privacy.

8. Disruption and Noise:
Please refrain from disruptive behavior, including loud talking, excessive noise, or using headphones that may disturb others. We aim to provide a calm and focused environment for both clients and artists.

9. Right to Refuse Service:
We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who engages in inappropriate behavior, fails to follow our policies, or makes others uncomfortable. In such cases, your deposit will be forfeited, and no service will be provided.

Support Person Policy

At Brother Tip Tattoo & Art, we understand that some clients may require support during their tattoo, piercing, or course experience. To ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for everyone, please review our Support Person Policy:

  1. One Support Person Only:
    Clients may bring one support person to accompany them during their appointment or course. This person must remain seated in the designated area and follow all studio guidelines. This helps us maintain a calm and focused atmosphere for all clients and staff.

  2. No Children Allowed:
    For safety and comfort, children are not permitted in the studio, even if accompanied by a support person. We recommend arranging childcare before your appointment or course.

  3. Support Person Conduct:
    The support person must behave respectfully and follow all studio rules, including maintaining quiet and not causing disruptions. Any disruptive behavior may result in the cancellation of the appointment or course, and the support person may be asked to leave the premises.

  4. Support for Medical or Emotional Needs:
    If you require a support person for medical or emotional reasons, please inform us in advance. We are happy to accommodate your needs, ensuring a comfortable experience.

  5. Health and Safety:
    We ask that support persons follow the same health and safety guidelines as clients, including adhering to any COVID-19 protocols or other studio requirements.

Tattoo Aftercare and Follow-Up

Congratulations on your new tattoo! Proper aftercare is essential for ensuring your tattoo heals well and stays vibrant. Please take the time to follow the instructions carefully.

  1. Aftercare Instructions:
    We will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions, which include cleaning, moisturizing, and protecting your tattoo. It is important to follow these steps exactly to avoid infection or fading.

  2. Touch-Ups:
    Touch-ups may be necessary if there are any areas that heal unevenly or need refinement or finishing. Please note that touch-ups are not free after 3 months and must be paid for at the time of booking. Touch-up appointments need to be scheduled in advance, as we book appointments well ahead of time.

  3. Failure to Follow Aftercare Instructions:
    To ensure the best healing process, it’s crucial that you follow the aftercare instructions carefully. If you do not follow the aftercare guidelines, we may decline to perform touch-ups. This is because improper care can lead to poor healing, which may affect the final result of your tattoo.
