Atawhai Tipene
Atawhai is the founder and owner of Brother Tip Tattoo & Art, bringing together creativity, leadership and business behind the scenes.
As the studio's entrepreneur and operations lead, she keeps everything running seamlessly, managing the systems that support both the team and every client experience.
From administration, bookings, client communications, website management, and social media to collaborations, marketing and day-to-day operations, Atawhai wears many hats to ensure every part of the business runs with purpose.
Passionate about building more than a tattoo studio, she has created a welcoming creative space where artists are supported, clients feel connected, and authenticity is at the heart of everything they do.

SAMANTHA PURVIS
A talented weaver and the mother of Tā Moko artist Madia, Sam brings warmth, care, and manaakitanga into the studio every day.
She is often the first friendly face to welcome you, making every client feel comfortable and at home from the moment they arrive.
Behind the scenes, Sam supports our artists with preparing their workstations, maintaining the presentation of the studio, assisting clients throughout their appointments and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Her caring nature, creative hands and dedication help create the calm, welcoming environment that makes Brother Tip feel like home.
